Neshanic Valley's
Golf Academy offers golf instruction to players of all skill levels.
Classes
are held
at The Learning Center at Neshanic Valley. The practice facility includes
a driving range, two practice holes, a putting green, and three practice
chipping greens with bunkers. Instruction is available all year round.
The Learning Center provides a facility for indoor instruction during
inclement weather. Players may sign up for golf lessons through various
formats:
Individual Instruction - Individual
Instruction is available to players of all ages. Lessons are usually
30 or 60 minutes of instruction with a golf professional. Players may
also opt for a playing lesson in which instruction takes place through
course play. Oftentimes the use of a video camera may be needed for
swing analysis of the individual.
Small Group Instruction - Players
may sign up for small group instruction consisting of two to four players.
This provides an opportunity for friends and families to learn and improve
upon their golf game together.
Corporate Groups - Corporations are
encouraged to bring groups of employees and/or clients for golf instruction,
club fittings and swing analysis.
Adult Group Education - Adult Group
Education Classes are an inexpensive way for players to learn the game
or improve upon their game with similar level players through group instruction.
Class sizes range between four and eight students.
Junior Golf - The
Junior Golf Program provides instruction for children ages 5 to 17. Programs
vary by age, however, most classes include both instruction and organized play opportunities.
Currently, classes are offered from March through August. Future plans
for the Golf Academy include a year-round Junior Golf Program.
The Ladies
Academy - The Ladies Academy
offers weekly instruction and organized play for ladies 18 years of age
and older. Classes are held on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 10am - 11am and Thursday evening form 6pm - 7pm. Following the
one-hour instructional clinics, tee times are reserved on the Academy
Course for Ladies' organized play. |
